But why does the bride have to have all the fun? That’s where bridal shower Bingo comes in. Bridal bingo is an easy and enjoyable game to play at a bridal shower.

On this page I am sharing this free printable Pin the Bow-Tie on the Groom Bridal Shower Game. This game is suitable for all age groups and it is bridal shower version of the pin the tail on the pony game. This game can be played on bridal shower, bachelorette party or hen’s party.

This is a fun game to play at a bridal shower because it as the bride opens each gift, some one is closer to winning prize. It is a great way to keep guests entertained while the bride opens her gifts.

All you need is a simple bingo card. You could make your own or click here for a free one.

Materials needed for bridal bingo

  • Printed Bridal Bingo cards
  • Pens

How to Play Bridal Shower Bingo

In order to play bridal bingo, your guests should be seated and each player should have a bingo card and a pen.

Make sure that the cards have five squares vertical, five squares horizontal and a free space image in the middle.

Before the bride begins unwrapping her gifts, have the guests make predictions on what gifts she will get during the bridal shower. Ask the guests to write the predictions down.

They could write each idea into the individual boxes. One item in each square so that there is an even number of items for everyone.

For example, some of the things you could write are wine glasses, plates, napkins, towels, etc. As the bride opens her gift, if she opens one of the items written down on your card, you could scratch those items out.

Make sure that the bride announces the gifts she opens. So that there is a clear understanding of the item.

The first person to get five in a row could shout BINGO. And they should get a prize. You could have as many rounds as you like for this bridal bingo game.

This is a great way to keep everyone’s interest in the bridal shower. It will keep the guests engaged and give everyone an incentive to keep track of the bride’s gifts.

You could get cute and have some unique bingo markers. I like this example of chocolate kisses to mark your squares. Very acceptable for a bridal shower.

Conclusion

Enjoy playing bridal bingo! Make sure to use the free template provided in this blog post. If this is not your style, there more free templates in an article in the Spruce. I am sure you will definitely find something that fits your style.

One of my favorite parts of a bridal shower is the games, especially bridal bingo. I know a lot of people think the games are corny, but I think they're a great way to stay involved in a shower.
I mean, what if you're at a shower where the only person you know is the bride-to-be? She's off being social because she knows everyone (or, well, almost everyone, except, potentially, a few in-laws-to-be). It leaves you stuck at a table with other people who also know the bride only. Or, worse, a table full of people who know everyone but you.
There's only so much chit chat about how you know the bride and the weather before you start looking at your phone and wondering when you can sneak out.
That's why you need bridal games. They help pass the time a little easier and keep people involved.
My favorite shower game? Bridal bingo.
It's perfect for a bridal shower.

Guests get a blank bingo board and fill it with gift items they think the bride-to-be will receive. Then, as the bride is opening gifts, you mark off your bingo card. First person to get five in a row wins.
If you remember what you bought, that easily fills a box. And if you shopped her registry, you can sort of remember what else was on there when you were shopping. Or go with sheets and towels. Everyone always registers for sheets and towels.
The photo above is my friend Beth's bingo board from my shower, and, of course, she won the first prize.
Prizes were cute lemon keepers from Good Cook filled with lemon candy. My mom gave out 25 (because after that, she ran out of Christmas bags to wrap them in). More prizes is better than less because it keeps more people involved.
If you want to play bridal bingo at your shower, I created a printable for a bridal bingo board. Just right click the photo and save it to your computer. Whenever you're ready, you can print it on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper. You can print two boards per sheet. Make sure to have one board per guest -- and maybe a couple extras, just in case.
